School Uniform Policies continue to be a largely discussed issue among both public and private schools across the world. While there are many ideas to support both viewpoints on the issue, either in favour of or opposed, the following articles show what has been proven to be true and untrue regarding uniform policies. By examining the three following articles, this paper will look at how school uniforms affect a child’s learning environment, whether students feel like their school atmosphere is more positive with the implementation of school uniform policies or whether there are no significant changes in the climate of the school. It will also look at how school uniforms might affect the levels of violence, academics, attendance, and overall behavior of students.
